The works included on this gallery page have been selected from my years spent as a freelance illustrator, calligrapher and painter from 1985-2015. Over this 30-year period, I produced many pieces for valued clients and buyers. From 1985-2000, I operated a full-time freelance art business before taking a position as Art Director for Van Go, Inc. I continued to freelance part-time until my retirement in 2014. This collection represents my development as a professional artist. Persevering along the unpredictable path of self-employment while being a single mother of two daughters was often quite challenging, but certainly never dull. Life as an artist afforded daily adventure, creativity and a sense of authenticity. I feel most fortunate for the many opportunities I have been given over the years, both professionally and personally. Today I own and operate BONEYARD Studios & Gallery, open seasonally in Creede, Colorado. I know with certainty I will continue making art and living as an artist for the rest of my life.
